SVF's Valve Testing and Research Center, established in 1965 andoperational since 1970, is a world-class facility for comprehensive valveperformance testing. Established in accordance with the directives oftheformer Ministryof Machine-Building Industry (Jitong No.[198511015), it underwentministerial acceptance by the formeMinistry of Mechanical and Electrical Industry in 1985. The centerreceived CMA certification from the State Bureau of Quality andTechnical Supervision in 1991, and in 2024, it was awarded the CNASLaboratory Accreditation Certificate. As the former safety valve qualitysupervision and testing branch of the former Ministry of MMechanicaland Electronics Industry, it specializes in safety valve certificationconducting perfommance testing and regular reviews of safety valveproducts intended for National Quality, Ministerial Quality, andManufacturing License for Industrial Products applications

Valve Testing and Research Center
The Valve Testing and Research Center has undergone multiple renovations and expansions, covering an area of 1000 square meters with 5 testing circuits, suitable for testing requirements of various parameter valves. After renovation, the gas storage capacity can reach 105 cubic meters, with a test temperature of 450 ° C and a maximum test pressure of 21.5 MPa. Currently, it is one of the safety valve thermal performance testing devices in China with strong comprehensive testing capabilities, multiple testable items, and relatively complete testing equipment.
The testing center is equipped with valve performance tests under steam, hot water, ambient temperature water, and compressed air conditions. The valve identification test items that the testing center can carry out include: safetyValve thermal full performance test, displacement test, valve life test, flow characteristic test, blocking test, cold hot alternating test, and drainage test.
Technicians can replicate actual working conditions for valve operation in the testing center, ensuring valves are optimized for peak efficiency upon delivery to customers. This helps to streamline debugging processes, enhance operator safety, and minimize on-site energy consumption and debugging costs. Additionally, the center serves as a crucial platform for the performance evaluation and refinement of new products, laying the groundwork for the development and enhancement of relevant standards and specifications.
